Notes: Mom decided that we were not old enough to get our ears pierced until we were nine, so after my sister got hers pierced, I waited for two years, and then we went the day before my birthday and got mine done. It was very exciting, and for one ear not painful. The other ear hurt a bit, if I recall correctly.
Anyway, this was the pair I chose to have as my very first earrings. I think the diamonds were supposed to be real, but either way I picked them because diamonds are the April birthstone, a fact which used to interest me--until I realized that diamonds have very little color to them, and are thus boring.
