Object: Two sets of small markers, minus the yellows

Notes: These are another night-hike item, used for showing how you can't see color in the dark I took the yellow out because it's an obvious color, even in the dark--but you can't see it written on your skin, so it's not really fun to use anyway.

I suspect that most of these are dead by now, so on that distant day when I finally go through my NH kit and toss everything out (except the rocks, of course), these will go, too.

Notes: I got these to make hand-warmers/muffatees for my then-boyfriend. Since he is now my ex, I'm not sure what to do with these. I'll make them into something eventually, but gray and black aren't my usual Colors of Choice for making things, so I don't yet know what it will be.

Notes: This is supposed to be the decorative base for giant wooden letters, which you would then decorate with glitter and feathers and shit. I've re-purposed it for hanging my beaded tapestries temporarily so I can get light behind them.  It works...okay for that, although I'm getting better effects in other ways now.

Notes: These are the papers I use as backgrounds in my photos, mostly on my Etsy shop, but I use them here as well.  I just don't try as hard to make the pictures pretty here.

Notes: These are actually too big for me to use with my other beads, so instead I use them as a...chew-toy, I guess you'd have to say.  I put one in my mouth and play with it with my tongue to prevent me from biting my fingernails.  Sometimes it even works. I don't know what I'll do once they run out (I occasionally swallow or otherwise lose them). Perhaps then it will be time to get my tongue pierced?

And I used to use that film canister as my traveling bead kit, but the lid was too small for large projects, and it couldn't even fit my folding scissors, so it got a demotion.

Notes: I actually forgot about these yesterday. They are the remnants of size 10 beads that I'm trying to get out of my stash. I had it down to eight colors, but I ordered some size 11s, and they sent me two colors of 10s as a 'free sample.' Free and unexpected are both good--but only when I don't have to deal with them afterward, so... I'm not really all that happy with that bead place.

I like the #13 needles more than the #12s. The needles in the tube are even bigger than the #12s and won't actually go through my beads.

Notes: This, along with a bobbin of thread and a folding pair of scissors, is my magical traveling beading kit.  I dump the beads of a current project into the box and carry it in my pocket.  When I want to bead, I shovel some of the beads onto the lid where they can spread out without escaping all over the floor.

It's one of the best ideas I've ever had.

Notes: As I use up beads they get down graded in their containers, and when there's next to nothing left of a certain color, it goes in here (or if I really, really hate it and am sick of trying to use it up). I've slowly been using these beads (and the ugly red thread) to make a beaded chain, but since it'll never be finished, I'm not sure if it'll ever be blogged.

Notes: There's three black bobbins because they are different sizes, the clear is horrible to use, and the large white bobbin was sold as my preferred size--but it isn't.  The small white bobbin IS my favorite size, but I forgot I had another one when I started on the spool. The yellow/cream is for specific projects, and the red I hate, but it's left over from something I made and I don't have many red-thread-requiring projects to use it up with.

Notes: I have four total of these (the other two get their own entries because of what's stored in them), and I find them to be rather useful. One of these two usually holds my beading thread, and the other the tiny finished beading projects of mine.  Each box has it's own lid, which is really strange because you can't buy them with a lid apiece anywhere, so I don't know how I did that.

Notes: The set of three drawers has coin-shaped beads, and the non-empty four-drawer set has a silver chain, some misc beads and the end to one of my beaded tapestries' hanging rod which I need to glue back on. None of these really needed their own entry.

Notes: The drawers are 'Bead Hives' and I got them either from the Bead Bin or from mom, who is phasing hers out.  The drawers are nice but a little finicky to use.

I down-grade the container the beads live in as I use them up, with this being the smallest size available.
