165 Earrings

165 Earrings
Object: Many pairs of earrings

Acquired: Throughout my life

From: Various

Notes: I was putting off taking more pictures because I knew I needed to photograph my earrings, and the sheer volume was intimidating.  At first I thought I might do them in clusters, since each pair alone was a very, very silly idea.  Then I realized that I never wear most of them, so instead I went through and picked out the ones that have the most sentimental value and/or I might want to wear them, and then put the rest aside to get rid of later.  These are the ones I got rid of.

There are a few individual pairs you should note, though.  The pair on the far upper right with green balls is the pair that went with object 147. I might get rid of the necklace, too.

And the pair on the lower left, with the crystals, is actually a pair I got for Christmas a few years ago from my cousin. I believe she made them, and they came with a matching bracelet and bookmark (you've GOT to be coordinated when you read). they are nice, but I never wear them, and no longer need to own them.

You may also see a lot of turtles. I like turtles, but my turtle earring collection was reaching critical mass.

Since I got rid of these earrings, they are lost to me, and they now hold the dubious honor of being the first thing cataloged to be labeled "lost."

060 Pillow

060 Pillow
Object: "Traveling" pillow

Acquired: Unknown

From: Walmart

Notes: I actually have two of these, although it's been a few years since I saw the second one. I think it's in the attic?  This one is on it's way out the door, since it's been replaced by another small (newer) pillow. I just haven't gotten around to disposing of it.  It's matted, dirty (though just recently washed) and hard; not really one to hang onto at this point.

I actually really like this size pillow--it's about half the 'normal' size. It's perfect for holding when I'm too embarrassed to pack a giant stuffed rabbit, or I can mash it onto my head when I can't fall asleep and not suffocate myself.  I also have a small (twin) bed, so these smaller pillows don't take up all the space.

Lost: 5-5-2011
I finally got around to getting rid of the things that I thought I should get rid of, and this went in the "away with him!" bag. So far I don't miss it.

001 Camera

Digital Camera
Object: Canon PowerShot S300 Digital Elph, two batteries, battery charger and two memory cards.

Acquired: Unknown

From: Christmas gift from parents, purchased on Ebay

Cost: Unknown

Notes: This is my digital camera. It's not the one I'm using to take pictures for the blog because, quite frankly, it sucks. Instead I am using a camera borrowed from my dad, which isn't mine, and thus doesn't get blogged about.

I didn't ask for a digital camera that year, the software dad gave me to go with it never worked, and I owned it for at least a year before I remembered to use it occasionally. I have gotten some descent pictures with it, but the technology is so far beyond this poor little thing that it's not even funny.

Lost: May 2011. I hated this thing, and had an indefinite loan on one of Dad's cameras, so I got rid of this one.  Later that day my parents bought me a new one; object 231.
