Notes: Pair of gloves, yup. You're supposed to carry extra pairs around with you when working with kids in the winter.  I did offer gloves to kids several times, but if you're looking for a bit of advice, I'd say carry around thicker gloves because whatever the kids did to make their original gloves wet (mostly eating snow, in my experience), they'll just do it again with a dry pair.

Mostly I wore these myself, though.  They are a little short in the wrist, but I have wrist warmers/muffatees that I like to wear the gloves with, making the wrist-length of the gloves inimical.

Notes: I think this is the oldest pair of functioning sunglasses I have. They are very chipped, and have been bent out of shape at least once, but they still keep the sun from my eyes, and that's wonderful. The lenses are slightly chipped, but not as bad as some of my others.

Notes: I got this because I was tired of dragging around a blanket and/or using not-terribly-waterproof "raincoats". It doesn't like to be stuffed back in the bag, and it already has at least one tear. Awesome quality, that.

Notes: I have a small head.  Generally I've made my peace with this, but it means that normal sized sunglasses don't fit on my face and I have to buy children's sunglasses.  When I first learned this it wasn't a big deal, but since then styles of children's sunglasses have drifted towards the 'chunky and plastic' side of the spectrum. I like my sunglasses to look like an adult might wear them (rather than having Sponge Bob-shaped lenses) so I buy tasteful ones when I see them, which is becoming less and less frequently.

Notes: These are wool and go up over my elbows. I put elastic in their tops so they don't fall down (one has a safety pin in it because the elastic is too big).  I call them muffatees rather than hand-warmers because just before I made my first pair a friend and I went to Old Sturbridge Village, which had an old-fashioned manikin wearing these fingerless glove-things that were labeled 'muffatees.'  That's actually where I got the idea to make the first pair--I only learned later that they were a current fashion trend called 'handwarmers,' 'fingerless gloves' or 'that's dumb.'

Notes: This hat came with a matching pair of socks.  For those times you want your head and feet to be properly coordinated; like when you're about to put your foot in your mouth.

I have a small head, so most hats are too big for me, which is generally okay because I wear a hair clip, and then it fits under the hat.  This hat is the correct size for my head--but not if I'm wearing the clip, which I always am, so...conclusion; I don't wear this hat enough.

Notes: These are woolen mitten-gloves! and I love them lots and lots.  They aren't terribly durable, which is a huge disappointment for their cost, but I just switch them up with other winter handwear, and it's fine.

No, actually, these were balled up together like they were one set, and I haven't the faintest clue of what happened to the other blue mitten. I can only hope that some day it will have it's own entry.
