261 Puzzle

261 Puzzle
Object: Puzzle

Acquired: 2011

From: Good Will

Cost: $.99

Notes: A puzzle. I haven't put this one together yet.

Hey, know what would be awesome? if there was a place that you could make custom puzzles--but not lame-ass ones of your poorly-focused family gathering, but more like the self-publishing places, but where they'd print puzzles so I could, for example, find an awesome artist on Etsy and subtly suggest that they go have their prints made into puzzles at this site, and then I could have amazing and unique puzzles.  Or like a Zazzle store, but selling puzzles from artists who, perhaps, paint wizards WITHOUT beards. Or dragons that don't look stoned.

The possibilities are endless.

260 Greed Quest

260 Greed Quest
Object: Greed Quest

Acquired: 2011

From: Garage sale

Cost: $.50

Notes: It's not a two-player game, and since I only have one other person to play with, it doesn't work very well.  But I brought it to a game-night, and we ended up playing with six people (the maximum number). It's not a six-player game, either, no matter what the box says. But it was only fifty cents, so I can't complain.

229 Dragon

229 Dragon
Object: Dragon made from Polymer clay

Acquired: 2010

From: Etsy!

Notes: This was the second thing I got off Etsy. I still think he's cute, even if I bought him from a new seller, thus damning her to the same 'I have one sale, now what?' hell that I was in. She's since shut her shop, and I can't decide if I feel guilty. I like the dragon, anyway. He's so cute.

176 Earrings

176 Earrings
Object: One pair dragon earrings

Acquired: 2010

From: Etsy

Notes: This was one of the first things I bought on Etsy, and I'd hoped that they would be another pair of sterling silver earrings I could wear forever, but they are a bit too large for constant wear, and they like to catch on my scarf in the winter (it's a long scarf which gets wrapped several times around my neck), so they aren't as wonderful as I'd hoped, but I do wear them from time to time.

157 Necklace

157 Necklace
Object: Handmade necklace with dragon

Acquired: Unknown

From: Me

Notes: Another one. This one with a dragon.  I don't think I was ever planning to sell the dragon, and if there was one of these necklaces which I actually wore, it might be this one.

149 Choker

149 Dragon Choker
Object: The coolest thing I made in art metals class

Acquired: Art Metals class, senior or junior year of high school

From: I made it!

Notes: We were going on a family vacation which was cutting out a week of class time for me.  That time would have been most of the working time for this project, so I planned ahead and chose something simple yet awesome, and finished well ahead of schedule.  AND this was one of the best projects submitted for that assignment, even over some of the people who were in second-year Art Metals.

I love it, but it's pointy and spiky and likes to try and cut my throat if I'm not careful, so I hardly ever wear it.

103 DVD

103 DVD
Object: How to Train Your Dragon DVD

Acquired: Chirstmas-ish 2010

From: Target via gift card from Aunt Mariella

Notes: The movie isn't actually in there (oh noes!) it's in the binder with my other movies. I also haven't watched it yet. I should get on that.

Oh, and I spent the longest time looking over and over Target for this, only to find it back in the very first place I'd looked and under the very first DVD that had pinged on my radar. How's that for irony?

096 Dominoes

096 Dominoes
Object: One set of double-twelves dominoes

Acquired: 2010

From: St. Vincent de Paul Society thrift store

Notes: I've had a set or two of double-sixes for awhile now, but I wanted double twelves--but double-twelves of the black wooden dominoes, which they don't sell in stores any more. I was so happy to finally find these!  Once I got them home I laid them all out to make sure all the dominoes were there. I found that there's the correct number of them, but the double-threes was missing, and there were two double-blanks. I have no idea how in hell this happened, but it did.

At least I have a double-six set I can borrow the double-threes from.

085 Box

085 Dragon Box
Object: Resin Dragon Box

Acquired: March 2011

From: Good Will

Cost: $3-ish

Notes: It actually had two different price tags, one on the lid and one on the bottom. I worried I'd have to pay for both pieces separately--but I didn't.  This is an awesome box, and it's not chipped or damaged or anything. I'm not sure what I'll keep in it, since the actual storage space is smallish, but even if I never think of anything this is an awesome box!

022 Dragon

022 Dragon
Object: Boxwood Dragon Bead

Acquired: Fall 2010

From: Bead and Button Show in Milwaukee

Cost: $10

Notes: I always wanted one of these Japanese-ish boxwood bead-sculptures. And now I own one! I also want a rabbit and maybe a turtle, but it can wait.

012 Dragons

012 Dragons
Object: Two tiny plastic/rubber dragons

Acquired: Summer 2009

From: Store in Duluth

Cost: Less than a dollar apiece

Notes: I got these on a trip with my ex, but I can't quite recall if he got them for me or if I bought them for myself--probably the latter, but I'm not sure.  Either way, I quite like them. Tiny, cute toy dragons.
